Forest Fire Management Victoria and the Country Fire Authority have advised the 20-hectare burn will take place at Djandak Wi - Brights Lane, about six kilometres west of Huntly.
The burn will start at 10am on Sunday and last through to 8pm on Monday, if weather permits.

Authorities warned residents that smoke from the burn could be visible until April 24.
Residents in Whipstick, Eaglehawk North, Huntly North, Huntly, Eaglehawk, Woodvale, and Neilborough could be affected.
Forest Fire Management Victoria staff will be patrolling the burn until it is declared safe.
