The move would help the Bendigo steel castings company capitalise on its West Australian client base, Keech executive general manager Brad Clark said.
"After having worked with Managing Director Paul Devine and his team, we are pleased that ACE recognises the strength of Keech as well as having the same dedication to adopting and fulfilling our growth strategy," he said in a media release.
Keech Australia specialises in castings and for tools used in industries like mining. It has been operating for roughly 85 years.
ACE also specialises in building hardy, long-lasting components for mining and other industries.
Both companies said that the business sale would solidify Keech's place in the market.
ACE managing director Paul Devine said the acquisition is part of a business expansion strategy focusing on staying competitive and leading the industry in innovation.
He said it would improve his company's on-shore foundry capabilities and add to its supply chain strategy.
"After years of watching Keech operate in the industry, I began to highly regard their culture, people and most of all their approach to Australian made products," Mr Devine said.
"Having that alignment was the first step in identifying a natural fit for both businesses".
