Beau Edwards, 34, appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to driving in a dangerous manner, criminal damage, failing to stop a vehicle after an accident, and failing to give accident related information.
The court heard about 10.10pm on August 5, 2018, two victims were driving in a BMW in White Hills.

The male driver noticed a white ute, driven by Edwards, pull out of a driveway and follow the BMW.
Edwards turned off the ute's headlights and continued to follow the victims.
The male driver pulled to the side of the road in an attempt to let the ute pass, but Edwards pulled up alongside the passenger side of the car.
The ute scrapped along the BMW, scaring the driver and passenger.
The male driver performed a u-turn and started driving towards the Bendigo Police Station. The ute continued to follow the car with the headlights off so one of the victims called 000.
The BMW pulled into a motel car park on Napier Street and the ute followed.
The male victim got out of his car, as did Edwards.

The court heard Edwards said to the victim he had followed and collided with the wrong car. He returned to his ute and left the scene.
Police arrived at the car park and noted the damage to the BMW, which was valued at $12,200.
Edwards was later arrested and gave a no comment interview to police.
Victim impact statements read to the court said the male driver had felt "scared for (his) life" and he would "never forget what happened".
Edwards' defence lawyer Jack Dalziel told the court Edwards was already serving a three-year County Court jail term for different offences.
Mr Dalziel said his client would not be eligible for parole until November next year.
Magistrate Patrick Southey said he would take into account Edwards' guilty plea and the sentence he was already serving.
Edwards was jailed for one month, which was cumulative on his County Court sentence.
His drivers licence was cancelled and he was disqualified from driving for six months.
