Charlie Peter Emond was born on April 9, weighing 3.5 kilograms, or seven pounds, 11 ounces.
Ms Chesters announced the news on her Facebook page on Sunday, saying she and Charlie were both in good health.

She said daughter Daisy was thrilled to have become a big sister.
A release from her office said Ms Chesters and partner Matt Emond wanted to thank the staff at Bendigo Health for their attention and care.
The release said Charlie was named after great-great grandfather Charlie Krausgrill, who was an active member of the Eaglehawk and Bendigo community.
