Get started on your chosen career path through CVGT Australia. As a leading provider of employment solutions for people and businesses, CVGT Australia is also a group training organisation or GTO. Each year, the organisation employs hundreds of apprentices and trainees, placing them in a number of industries across Bendigo and surrounding areas.

Real-life success is reflected in story after story from the people and businesses supported by CVGT Australia.

One of CVGT Australia's former trainees praised her experience with the company which has helped her build her career.

Filled with confidence, Maddison is excited by potential career opportunities that have now opened up as a result of her traineeship with the City of Greater Bendigo.

"I'm excited for what the future holds and for how many opportunities there are for me now. Whichever path I want to take I know that's now an opportunity I didn't feel like I had before. I didn't have the confidence and now I feel like I do. I've now got a qualification and Trainee of the Year which is even better."

CVGT Australia Group Training Manager Karen Patterson says apprenticeships and traineeships are a pathway for young people to commence their life career.

"These are viable real-life career opportunities, not everybody needs or wants to go to university.

"An apprentice or trainee can get paid while gaining valuable skills and experience and gain a nationally recognised qualification with no HECS debt.

"We employ the apprentice or trainee and take care of all the administration, paperwork, payroll and Work Health & Safety. We also make sure businesses get the maximum financial benefit from government incentives," says Karen.

"Business owners can then concentrate their efforts on the operations of their business. It's also reassuring to know that if circumstances change, a business can hand back the apprentice or trainee and trust us to place them with another business so they may continue their training without disruption."

Some of the businesses CVGT Australia supports through group training include City of Greater Bendigo, Bendigo Bank, Bendigo Health, Clark Metal Roofing and Poyser Motor Group, as well as state and local government departments.
