Members of the Central Victorian Lion Team performed traditional dances for children complete with traditional drums and fire crackers at Ulumbarra Theatre.
Their feat was made all the more special because for much of last year dancers were unable to train together due to the pandemic.
Easing restrictions have allowed the team to come back together, though their showcase performances in the Bendigo Easter parade will not be able to go ahead in 2021.
The parade was postponed because of uncertainties around how the pandemic might have panned out.
But there are a multitude of other fun events for the family including exhibitions, book fairs, music and a host of children's activities.
