The Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat is holding its iconic Easter hole-in-one tournament.
The competition starts tomorrow morning 9am at Rotary Gateway Park and will run until Sunday afternoon (Friday 9am-4pm, Saturday (9am-4pm and Sunday 9am-3pm).
The Kangaroo Flat Sports Club has paired up with Rotary and has thrown in $2000 in prize money for an ace.
During the course of the weekend if more than one player scores a hole-in-one, there will then be a play-off on Sunday afternoon to determine a winner, runners-up will also receive prizes.
There will be multiple other prizes up for grabs each day for NTPs and other daily challenges.
Entry of $10 goes towards supporting the local community and provides each player with 10 golf balls, additional balls can also be purchased.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions it's a ticketed event which can be purchased here.
Tickets can also be purchased on the spot at Rotary Gateway Park.
Clubs and tees are provided, but players can also bring their own equipment.
The event has been a major fundraiser for the Rotary of Kangaroo Flat and one that is close to the club members' hearts.
"We do it purely and simply to raise money for the local community," club president Kaylyn Journeaux said.
"Especially after COVID-19 last year a lot of families are struggling this year and this is our way of helping out."
