BATTING RANK: 1st.
BOWLING RANK: 2nd.
HIGHEST SCORE: 129 - Jack Neylon v Eaglehawk.
BEST BOWLING: 5-14 - Chris Sole v Bendigo United.
A flawless 2020-21 for the Suns, whose six-wicket grand final win over Kangaroo Flat capped an unbeaten season and a seventh flag in 11 years.
Had remarkable stability in their team using just 14 players in the first XI, with the 11 who won the premiership now sharing 49 Suns' flags between them.
And considering the Suns won six BDCA premierships as a club, it would seem their dynasty of remarkable success still has more chapters to be written yet.
Boasted three of the competition's top eight run-scorers in Jack Neylon (620), Grant Waldron (596) and James Vlaeminck (428) and three of the top six wicket-takers in Addy MVP Cameron Taylor (33), Sam Johnston (33) and Chris Sole (27) and put simply, had no weak link.

HIGHEST SCORE: 87 - Jake Klemm v Sandhurst.
BEST BOWLING: 6-3 - Brent Hamblin v Bendigo United.
Fell one step short in their premiership goal, but it was a major progression forward for the Roos in the club's best finish since 2007-08.
Lost the grand final to Strathdale-Maristians, but should now use that experience to drive them to the next level next season.
Brent Hamblin ended the season with 35 wickets - the most in the competition - and shapes as one of the leading contenders to win the Cricketer of the Year award.

BEST BOWLING: 4-17 - Cory Jacobs v White Hills.
The Hawks certainly exceeded expectations this season to - firstly - finish in the top four and then to beat Huntly-North Epsom in the elimination final.
Plenty to like about teenager Angus Chisholm, who led the Hawks with 377 runs, and one of the competition's revelations was the elevation of Russell Stockdale (373 runs, including two centuries) to open the batting.
The future certainly looks bright for the Hawks on the back of this season's improvement from 8th in 2019-20 to 3rd with a bullet.

BEST BOWLING: 6-26 - Brett Elvey v Eaglehawk.
Knocked out in the first week of the finals when beaten by Eaglehawk in what became a Twenty20 elimination final played under lights at the QEO.
Were the only team, apart from the undefeated Strathdale-Maristians, not to lose consecutive games throughout the season and were ranked in the top three with both bat and ball.
Two leading wicket-takers were both spinners in left-armer Malan Madusanka (29) and Sandun Ranathunga (23).

BEST BOWLING: 4-37 - Savith Priyan v Strathdale.
The Jets should be kicking themselves that they missed the finals.
The Jets spent 13 of the 18 rounds in the top four before giving up their position to Eaglehawk on the final day and dropping to fifth.
Recruit Nayana Fernando had a productive first season at Tannery Lane with 475 runs opening the batting, while young bowlers Jed Rodda (23) and spinner Darcy Hunter (20) both took 20-plus wickets in a season for the first time.

BEST BOWLING: 5-23 - Rhys Irwin v Golden Square.
The Demons were 3-3 after six rounds, but dropped away from there, winning just three of their last 12 games to finish sixth.
It went particularly pear-shaped in round 17 when they were routed for just 34 by Eaglehawk at a time when they were still in with a sniff of playing finals.
Testament to the longevity of star batsman Gavin Bowles, he not only became the Demons' games record-holder this season, but also topped their runs with 527 following a lean start early.

HIGHEST SCORE: 113 - Anthony McMahon v Bendigo United.
BEST BOWLING: 4-24 - Reilley Porter v Bendigo United.
For the third season in a row since winning the 2017-18 premiership the Dragons missed the finals.
Will be one of those rare seasons where the competition's top run-scorer came from a non-finals team, with skipper Joel Murphy leading the BDCA with 697.
But apart from Dylan Gibson (405 runs) the Dragons didn't have enough other consistent contributors with the bat, while with the ball, they only bowled their opposition out four times.

BATTING RANK: 10th.
BOWLING RANK: 7th.
HIGHEST SCORE: 78* - Xavier Austin v Bendigo.
BEST BOWLING: 4-29 - Tom Batters v Bendigo.
An 8th-placed finish is a far cry from Bendigo United's former halcyon days, but given where the club has come from off the back of three-consecutive wooden spoons, 2020-21 was a positive step forward.
The rebuilding Redbacks only managed four wins in the previous three years, but equaled that tally this season.
Need to bulk up their batting line-up for further improvement next season as shown by four times being bowled out for less than 100 and only having two players - Riley Treloar (278) and Jake Thrum (245) - make more than 200 runs.

BATTING RANK: 6th.
BOWLING RANK: 10th.
HIGHEST SCORE: 121 - Kyle Humphrys v Golden Square.
BEST BOWLING: 5-18 - Dylan Johnstone v White Hills.
Season was tracking along OK at 3-3 after six rounds, but it then became a tough slog for the Goers.
Went winless between rounds seven and 16 before pulling off a major upset at Dower Park against flag contender Kangaroo Flat.
Despite the Goers' season of struggle they had one of the premier all-rounders in the competition in Kyle Humphrys, who combined 554 runs with 16 wickets.
A positive for the club looking forward is the Goers have a group of under-18 players coming through who were good enough to reach this season's grand final.

BATTING RANK: 9th.
BOWLING RANK: 6th.
HIGHEST SCORE: 88 - Riley Hocking v Sandhurst.
BEST BOWLING: 6-10 - Scott Trollope v Bendigo United.
Would need to delve back into the history books for the last time Golden Square finished with the wooden spoon, which has come just two seasons after the club played in the grand final.
Won just three games against Bendigo United, Sandhurst and Eaglehawk, with the side somewhat of a revolving door given the Bulldogs used 23 players in the first XI.
Were heavily reliant with both bat and ball on key all-rounders Scott Trollope and skipper Liam Smith, who between them combined for 671 runs and 47 wickets.
