The 53-year-old art show is run by the Rotary Club of Bendigo and this year features more than 900 works - making it the biggest Bendigo Easter Art Show ever.
Rotary Club of Bendigo president Graeme Clarke said it was the first real fundraiser the club has run this year.

"The styles and mediums are amazing - water colours, acrylic, oils, charcoal, pencils - the whole lot is here. The quality and variety is outstanding."
Some COVID restriction will be in place for the event that runs over the Easter weekend. No more than 150 people will be admitted at one time and the show will shut every two hours for cleaning and sanitisation.
Mr Clarke said he expected Bendigo to be as busy as ever over the weekend.
"Easter it is a fantastic time to come to Bendigo," he said. "We have five days of great weather coming and this is the best prepared art show we have had. The council has been very supportive to ensure we can run this over Easter."
