In total the club had 18 juniors compete in finals, with seven securing medals at the event held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Veda Haines also secured double gold in the 50m backstroke and her division's 50m breaststroke.
Lily-May Kirby won silver in the 50m backstroke, Keira Teuma locked in silver in the 50m breaststroke, Alex Dobie solver in the 50m breaststroke, Darcey Whitshed bronze in the 50m breaststroke and Tommy Byrne bronze in the 50m freestyle.
The club's swimmers were also in action at the recent 2021 Victorian Age Championships and secured several medals.
Meanwhile, three of the clubs swimmers in Cameron Jordan, Layla Day and Hunter Boswell are preparing to compete at national-level events scheduled to be held on the Gold Coast next month.
After a strong performance at the recent state championships Hunter Boswell has secured his spot for the very first time while Jordan and Day have competed at national-level events before.
BESC coach John Jordan said the level of competition would be one step higher than state tournaments.
"There will be plenty of tough competition in action from across Australia," Jordan said.
"The first aim is to swim some personal bests and then hopefully in doing so progress further to finals events."
