More news:
Strathfieldsaye Primary School principal Cindi Bruechert said it was too early to know what the damage bill was, but expected it to be high.
"We are still in the process of doing a full check," she said.
"It's very disappointing. I've been here for five years and over the last six months there's been a couple of little incidents, but this is definitely the worst."
It is not yet clear whether all the incidents are related.
Two classrooms used by grade one students will be off limits until repairs are made.
Ms Bruechert says the impact goes deeper than any inconvenience to students.
She said young children should feel safe in their classrooms.
"So it's the trauma of all of that, compacting the experience that they've had over the past year," Ms Bruechert said.
Students have already grappled with death of school community members in a car crash in late December, 2019 as well as the disruptions caused by the pandemic.
