Police believe the driver of the white four-wheel-drive suffered a medical episode moments before the crash.
Leading Senior Constable Pat Allan said the woman aged in her 70s was driving towards Bendigo on High Street when her car veered across the road and hit a parked car.
The woman was taken to hospital for observation. He car was more significantly damaged than the parked vehicle.
The southbound lanes of High Street have reopened to traffic.

Emergency services are on scene at a car crash on High Street in Golden Square.
The crash happened just before 1.30pm on Thursday.
A white four-wheel-drive appears to have collided with a parked car. Paramedics are treating one person.
Southbound traffic is being diverted around the scene via Maple Street.
Traffic heading towards central Bendigo is not affected.
Firefighters and police are also on scene.
