Hunter's big bag of wickets helped the Strathfieldsaye Jets soar straight into the under-16A grand final.

The minor premier Jets defeated Bendigo United by seven wickets in the under-16A second semi-final.

Hunter helped restrict the Redbacks to 8-111 from their 25 overs. henry Rathjen (28 not out) top-scored for Bendigo United.

In reply, Jasper Cheesman made a brisk 46 and Aston Wilson added 25 not out as the Jets won by seven wickets with five overs to spare.

The Redbacks get another chance in next week's preliminary final where they'll face Huntly-North Epsom after the Power upset Strathdale-Maristians in the first semi-final.
