A MAN is in a stable condition following a truck rollover in Marong.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed the man in his 30s was taken to Bendigo Health following the crash on Edwards Road.
He was in a stable condition with minor injuries.
1.40pm
Police said the truck driver was "lucky to be alive" after the vehicle rolled and crashed into an embankment on Edwards Road at Marong.
Leading Senior Constable Brendan Keegan said the driver, a man aged about 40, had suffered minor injuries.
The road is expected to be blocked for several hours while the scene is cleared.
The cause of the crash was being investigated, Leading Senior Constable Keegan said.
He said it appeared the driver lost control of the truck, which was carrying pebbles, at speed and it ploughed head-first into the embankment.

THE male driver has been taken to Bendigo Health by road ambulance.
Ambulance Victoria is yet to confirm the extent of the man's injuries or his condition.
It appears the truck rolled over on Edwards Road in Marong and crashed cabin-first into an embankment.
Edwards Road is still blocked to traffic in both directions.

THE male driver has been extracted from the truck.

CREWS are working to extract a man from a truck after his vehicle crashed in Marong.
SES, fire crews, paramedics, and police are at the scene of the rollover on Edwards Road, about three kilometres east of the Calder Alternative Highway.
Edwards Road is currently blocked to traffic in both directions.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed there was one male patient at the scene.

EMERGENCY services are on the scene of a reported truck rollover in Marong.
The Country Fire Authority was called to the crash on Edwards Road, three kilometres east of the Calder Alternative Highway, about 12.20pm on Friday.
A CFA spokesperson said there was possibly one person trapped.
Paramedics, police, and the SES were also on scene.
