ZERO new cases of locally acquired COVID-19 have been reported in Victoria, making 10 days straight without community transmission.
One new case acquired overseas was reported in hotel quarantine.
Five cases of COVID-19 are active in the state.
Australian Medical Association president Omar Khorshid said based on the simple math, it would be hard to get the entire population through two doses, three months apart by then.
But Dr Khorshid said Australia had to need to rush, because it had done an extraordinary job protecting its population.
A total 9993 COVID-19 test results were reported to Victoria's Department of Health to midnight Sunday.
