The 25-year-old finished the tournament at 14-over par in second last position on the leaderboard after carding four above-par rounds (77-77-74-74=302).
The World Golf Championship tournaments are invitational events reserved for top-ranked players, with the host course - The Concession - catching out several of the sport's elite throughout the week.
During the tournament several players in the field carded rounds with multiple double-bogeys or worse bought on by missed greens and tough putts.
However, the eventual tournament winner Colin Morikawa (USA) was able to card just one double for the week and managed to finish at 18-over to seal victory.
Morikawa finished three shots in front of rising Norwegian talent Viktor Hovland, Brooks Koepka (USA) and Billy Horschel (USA) at 15-under.
