THREE youths are in custody after the alleged theft of two motor vehicles in Huntly during the early hours of the morning.

A Bendigo police representative said two vehicles had been stolen from the Huntly address early on Sunday, while the residents were home.
He said the youths had been evading police throughout the day.

A police helicopter was hovering over Bendigo around noon on Sunday.
A 15-year-old male, a 14-year old male and a 14-year-old female are assisting police with their inquiries. No charges have been laid yet.
