THE Brent Stanley-trained Here to Shock finished eighth in Saturday's Group One Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington.
In what has been described as one of the most extraordinary Group One upsets in modern history, rank outside Lunar Fox won at odds of $139.50.
Here To Shock, ridden by Luke Nolen, finished just under four lengths behind the victorious Lunar Fox.
"He didn't get the chance to get any momentum up, but I thought his run was super," Stanley said.
"He has beaten home some serious horses today and the further he goes the better he will go.
"Heading towards the AJC Derby, I'm really happy with how he's going.
"He will have two more runs, then he will go into the Rosehill Guineas then the AJC Derby with all things going well."
