There are 17 cases active, the Department of Health says.
More than 16,500 people got tested yesterday and the department thanked them for their help.
The two new locally acquired cases are primary close contacts of pre-existing cases and have been quarantining during their infectious period, the department said.
More news:
The vaccine rollout continues across Australia on Friday morning. It is not always going entirely according to plan.
One Kangaroo Flat nursing home's residents were originally going to get their shots on Monday.
That was pushed back to Wednesday before being cancelled at the last minute, but staff say they understand the roll-out is a mammoth task and that "things happen".
Federal health minister Greg Hunt has defended the slow start to the national roll-out, saying extra checks and balances were added after a doctor accidentally administered the wrong doses to aged care residents in Queensland.
Meanwhile, Bendigo Health yesterday confirmed it will announce details of a new vaccination hub next week.
It has previously said the hub will be aligned with the federal hubs for the delivery of the Pfizer vaccination.
Editors note: A previous update of this story said there were no new cases recorded. This has been corrected.
