LIFEJACKET CLINIC
Maritime Safety Victoria is hosting a free self-inspection inflatable lifejacket clinic.
The purpose is to learn how to self-inspect inflatable lifejacket.
Registered participants will receive a $30 voucher to use at Bendigo local tackle retailer to go towards a new lifejacket, lifejacket service parts or other approved safety equipment.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER
On, or near March 5, millions of people around the world will gather to focus on Vanuatu's gender based violence, malnutrition among children, and inadequate drinking water and sanitation to combat health issues.
In the Bendigo area, these gatherings will also include speakers and there will be other activities.
Gatherings will be held at:
- White Hills (venue and time TBC), Thursday, March 4.
- Neale Street Uniting Church, Friday, March 5, 10am.
- St Peter's, Eaglehawk, 11am.
- St Mary's, Kangaroo Flat, 7pm.
There will be no gathering this year in the CBD, but all are welcome at other venues.

KIDZ TRIATHLON
The Maryborough Triathlon Club is proud to be hosting their annual KIDZ Triathlon event, suitable for children aged seven to 13.
This event will include a 25m swim, 2km bike ride and a 1.3km run.
All participants will receive drinks, fruit, finisher medals and giveaways.

CLEAN-UP AUSTRALIA
Join in with the Friends of Campbells Creek Landcare Group and head out in groups to clean up creeksides with litter.
There will be skip bins and rubbish bags supplied. There will also be a morning tea.
Please bring sturdy shoes, hats, gloves, sunscreen, a rake if you have one, your own water. Rubbish bags supplied.
Where: Meet at bus shelter next to green pedestrian bridge, (opposite 61 Johnstone Street, Castlemaine), Winters Flat.

MULTICULTURAL MEETING
Help your local library understand what great service looks like and contribute to its future plans.
Goldfields Libraries Corporation is currently working to develop plans for library services across the region.
Community opinions are important, to ensure the libraries deliver a service that meets your needs.

EXHIBITIONS
ANASTASIA MAHER
Anastasia Maher is an exhibition that features handmade darkroom prints with an accompanying photobook, bound by local bookbinder, Libris.
This exhibition explores the changing Victorian landscape, the people, and is inspired by the life of, Anastasia Maher, who was born in 1867.
Anastasia Maher is also the great-great-great-great grandmother of the artist.
This series showcases the places that Anastasia lived, ruins of gold mining, portraits and more.

ART QUILT EXHIBITION
Textile artists will be participating in the 6th Biennial Golden Textures Contemporary Art Quilt Exhibition this week.
One quilt will be selected for the Central Goldfields Art Gallery's permanent collection, with the winner receiving $3000.
The Golden Textures Award celebrates the region's long connection with textiles.

FAR FROM THE EYE
La Trobe University is pleased to announce a new exhibition by Danica Chappell.
This exhibition is in conjunction with PHOTO 2021 International Festival of Photography and features a major new series of work by the Australian photographer.
These images respond to the nature of the paper, chemicals and processes of photographic production and the works explore her history in photography.

OLD TARNAGULLA IN COLOUR
Tarnagulla History Archive presents Old Tarnagulla In Colour, an exhibition of historical photographs which have been scanned, digitally restored, "colourised" and reprinted.
The images were created and restored digitally by business Circa in a process which also involves research with a local historian.
People can buy print copies of the images.

HEATHCOTE COMMUNITY FESTIVAL
This community festival will take place over the Labour Day long weekend and will celebrate diversity and community spirit.

The Harcourt Applefest is a much loved event that takes place in Harcourt nearly every year.
