AUSTRALIA'S grain industry has descended on Bendigo for a two-day research update.
Agronomists, consultants, researchers and growers launched the first day of the gathering on Wednesday, and are back for further presentations on Thursday.
The event showcases the latest outcomes and understandings and organisers say it is Victoria's premier grains research event.
Many of the events are being live-streamed in a unique format made necessary by the coronavirus pandemic.
A limited live audience is sitting in on sessions.
Growers and advisers will be equipped with cutting-edge advice and resources to inform their tactical decision-making and guide them through the coming cropping season and beyond, organisers say.
