Director David Frazer said he was excited to present a new event in the wake of February's Riverboats Festival being cancelled.
"While COVID sadly forced the cancellation of Riverboats in 2021, we're so excited to be bringing some of our most beloved artists back to Echuca-Moama for this incredible series of intimate gigs," he said.
"Echuca's paddle steamers are just superb, and to be able to kick back with a drink as you meander down the Murray listening to these artists is a truly unique experience"
Last week, Mr Frazer and the Riverboats Festival signed an open letter to the federal government calling for the extension of JobKeeper for the music and live entertainment sector.
He said if JobKeeper was extended beyond March it could spell the end for some festivals and events.
"(The government) has to start looking at industry-by-industry support (for JobKeeper) rather than blanket coverage," he said.
"Events and festivals won't be seen again. They can't hibernate another 12 months - that was the impetus for (the open letter) to happen.
"We had to make call in October to cancel the 2021 (Riverboats Festival). At end of March, with no JobKeeper, where does that leave us? The harsh reality is I could still be a year from being paid."
Riverboats Cruising produced by the team behind the Riverboats Music Festival in partnership with Creative Victoria.
Echuca Moama's Riverboats Festival is scheduled to return from February 18 to 20, 2022.
