HEALTH authorities have thanked the thousands of Victorians who been tested for COVID-19 in the past couple of days.
There were zero new coronavirus cases recorded in the state on Sunday for a third-straight day, after a hotel quarantine worker tested positive on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old man from Noble Park has the UK variant of the virus.

Health Minister Martin Foley said 1151 primary close contacts had been tested and were isolating.
About 72 per cent of those tests have been returned, all with negative results.
Mr Foley said those people isolating were the "real heroes" of the past couple of days.
But the health minister warned Victorians were only at the "half-way mark" of the public health response.
Mr Foley urged people to continue to get tested if they display any COVID-19 symptoms.
ZERO new cases of COVID-19 have been linked to community transmission in Victoria.
There have also been no new overseas acquired cases of coronavirus reported in the 24 hours to Sunday.
The total number of active cases in Victoria sits at 21.

It came as genomics testing confirmed the hotel quarantine worker who tested positive to coronavirus on Wednesday had the UK variant of the virus.
Victorian authorities were still trying to establish how the highly infectious virus strain was transmitted to the worker, who is a 26-year-old man from Noble Park.
All 17 of the man's household and social primary close contacts have tested negative for COVID-19.
Another 767 workplace close contacts and 362 contacts from the exposure sites were also being tested for the virus and isolating.
About 60 per cent of those people have returned negative test results, Health Minister Martin Foley said on Saturday.
