COMMUNITY EVENTS
GREATER BENDIGO DANCELAND INC.
Greater Bendigo Danceland Inc. will be back on the dance floor this weekend.
There will be a rotation of programs featuring old time and new vogue dances, a selection of CD music and lots of fun.
The group has a COVID-safe plan and will be providing tea and coffee with individually wrapped biscuits (instead of usual suppers), please bring own filled water bottles or your own supper.
There will still be the usual raffle, lucky door and Monte Carlo. Entry is $8.

MOVIE MONTH
Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services invite those aged between 12 and 25 to join for a series of movie nights.
This event is for those from the multicultural community and the event will run every Saturday in February.
This event will also include free foods. Spots are limited, so register by texting Kelly on 0475 886 862 with your name.
Where: Cultural Exchange Building, 24-26 Pall Mall, Bendigo.
When: Every Saturday for the month of February, from 5pm.
PERFORMANCES
UNION STREET BLUES CLUB
The Union Street Blues Club is a not for profit organisation with like minded musicians getting together for social and musical interaction.
This club also provides a yearly award for a young musician at each of the four secondary colleges in Bendigo.
This weekend, the club will be hosting a fundraiser at the All Seasons Hotel.
The day will kick off with bands Lost in Transit, The Fringe Dwellers and The Flannos.

CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Bendigo Chamber Music Festival is back after its 2020 festival, but with a bit of a different feel due to COVID-19.
In partnership with the City of Bendigo and Bendigo Venues and Events, this festival will feature some of Australia's best artists through 15 concerts.
This year will feature Australian woodwind stars, oboist Diana Doherty, and clarinettist David Griffiths; concertmaster and chamber musician Natsuko Yoshimoto; violinist Anna da Silva Chen; and New York-based pianist, Andrea Lam; plus many, many more.
The five days will also present a huge selection of chamber music with the favourites among the lesser-known pieces.

HANDMADE CREATIONS
Take a stroll through the Kangaroo Flat Handmade Market this weekend and pick up a unique creation.
This monthly market has all things local and handmade, with a large variety of stalls and something for everyone to enjoy.

WEEKLY MARKET
This weekly market showcases a family atmosphere and lots of new and used goods right in the heart of Bendigo.
The Sunday market is one of the largest of its kind in central Victoria.
There will be hot and cold foods, coffee, fresh produce, plants and pots, tools, candles, soaps, clothing, homewares, toys, hobby items, cosmetics, furniture and much more.
Free admission and ample parking.
Where: Prince of Wales Showgrounds, Holmes Road, Bendigo.

WESLEY HILL MARKET
Open every Saturday of the year, the Wesley Hill Market has something for everyone to enjoy.
There will be unique items, fresh fruits and vegetables and much more.

FAR FROM THE EYE
La Trobe University is pleased to announce a new exhibition by Danica Chappell.
This exhibition is in conjunction with PHOTO 2021 International Festival of Photography and features a major new series of work by the Australian photographer.
These images respond to the nature of the paper, chemicals and processes of photographic production and the works explore her history in photography.

ART COLLECTION
In addition to the regular exhibitions that the Central Goldfields Art Gallery has, there will also be pop-up exhibitions throughout the new year.
The pop-up works will feature artists who reside in the Central Goldfields region.

Girl Guides Victoria is committed to providing quality girl-led guiding programs for girls and women to inspire them to be more courageous.
The Bendigo District Girl Guides is seeking expressions of interest for a Come and Try Guides event.
This event will show what being a Girl Guide is about, in a friendly and supportive environment.
