The school last year received $5.1 million from the state government to modernise the school. That included $4.59 million from the 2020-21 state budget.
Member for Bendigo West Maree Edwards on Wednesday announced FPPV Architects would complete the design works.

The architecture firm is based in the Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford.
Maiden Gully Primary School principal Craig Arrowsmith last year said the money would go towards creating more permanent classrooms for students.
Parents and community leaders have been pushing for the upgrades for the past three years.
Ms Edwards said it was exciting that the upgrade works were progressing.
"Maiden Gully families are a step closer to getting the great local school facilities their kids need to thrive," Ms Edwards said.
