Eitilt, who was formerly trained in New Zealand before transferring to Stanley's Sutton Grange stable last year, was in a class of his own, easily accounting for his eight rivals in the benchmark 58 event, prevailing by four lengths over Lady Annabel, with Lavrovsky for Kyneton trainer Michael Jones in third.
Stanley's six-year-old gelding was sent out a $2.50 favourite and certainly lived up to the punters' expectations with a commanding performance over the over the 1450m distance.
The Choisir gelding, who was nicely ridden by 19-year-old apprentice Celine Gaudray, has shown a real liking for the Kyneton surface, notching a previous 1450m benchmark 58 win there on New Year's Day.
Eitilt, who had eight starts in New Zealand during 2017-18 for one win, has now had 10 starts in Australia for two wins and a trio of placings.
There was plenty more success for the region's trainers on the eight-race card.
Kyneton's George Osborne was the first to strike, notching a win with his first starter Delightful Icing.
The three-year-old filly could not have been more impressive, cruising to a 3.5 length win with Samuel Payne aboard.
It was Osborne's 17th win of the 2020-21 season, keeping him on track to get close to last year's Victorian best-ever total of 44.
Bendigo trainer Brad Cole is continuing to have plenty of fun with Kinjulator.
The veteran gelding, who started the year by winning the Merton Cup (1900m) on the picnic circuit on New Year's Day, rebounded from a fourth placing in last Saturday's Yea Cup, to win a benchmark 52 event over 1850m.
Cole headed to Kyneton with confidence with the nine-year-old dropping 12kg from his run on Saturday, and now having won on the quick back four times during his career from four attempts.
"He was the only real natural leader in the race and had plenty of fitness on them, so I knew he would take a bit of running down," he said.
"Chelsea (Hall) rode him really nicely in front and gave him every possible chance.
"We got a bit of luck when the favourite couldn't get out, but we were good enough to win too."
