ELMORE pacer Loving Life Lombo secured her place in the three-year-old fillies Australasian Breeders Crown semi-finals with an upset win in last night’s heats at Lord’s Raceway.The Keith Cotchin-trained filly upstaged Australian Pacing Gold champion Stunin Girl to win the first heat of the night.Driven by Jodi Quinlan, Lovin Life Lombo ($16.80) enjoyed a perfect run behind leader Frisky Risky Rita ($9) before surging to the lead halfway down the straight.The daughter of Life Sign then held off the fast-finishing Definite Girl ($6.20) to win by a head.Last night’s other three heats were all won by short-priced favourites.Revivalist ($1.40) was super impressive in heat two, Glenferrie Inn ($2.50) led all the way in heat three and Miss Trickin Lombo ($1.40) repeated the dose in heat four.The four winners advance to the semi-finals on August 13.
