A MAN is in a stable condition in hospital after he was airlifted to Melbourne after a crash in Kangaroo Flat.

The driver of a car that rolled after crashing in Kangaroo Flat last night was taken to the Alfred Hospital.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Kangaroo Gully Road in Kangaroo Flat at 10pm.
Bendigo Police Sergeant Rod McDowell said the car was traveling south-west in a 100km/h zone along Kangaroo Gully Road when it crashed.
"The vehicle has come off road at Read Lane and hit tree, which caused the vehicle to flip on its side," he said. "The cause of the crash is under investigation pending the results of blood tests."

Sergeant McDowell said the driver was trapped for some time with Ambulance Victoria, SES and CFA crews all attending the scene.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the man, aged in his 20s, received multiple injuries and was taken to The Alfred hospital in a serious but stable condition.
