Police at Castlemaine say a fire near Taradale on Saturday is not believed to be suspicious.
But the cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities are investigating.

Saturday afternoon's fire on the side of the Calder Freeway at Taradale is being treated as suspicious.
Mount Macedon Volunteer Fire Brigade took to social media to urge anyone with information about the fire to contact Crime Stoppers.
Investigators are also appealing for dash cam footage from motorists in the area between noon and 1pm on Saturday

Fire brigades will be at the scene of a fire on the side of the Calder Freeway at Taradale for some time blacking out and making the area safe.
The Country Fire Authority has issued updated community information confirming the fire is under control.

The CFA has released a community information message warning of smoke from a fire on the side of the Calder Freeway at Taradale.
"There is no immediate threat to the community and no action is required," the message says.
It calls on people to be aware of emergency vehicles when travelling in the area.
Firefighters are still on scene.
The community information message says the fire is travelling in a north-westerly direction. However, the fire has been marked as being under control.

Firefighters are responding to a fire on the side of the Calder Freeway at Taradale.
The fire is on the side of the freeway near Metcalfe-Taradale Road and is not yet under control.
