A NATIONAL skating competition will hold a regional heat in Castlemaine. Local skaters are encouraged to get involved in the Australian Skate Park League when it arrives at Castlemaine Skate Park on January 23. The series is a national grass-roots skateboard, scoot and BMX competition. Mount Alexander Shire Council youth activities officer Jodie Hearn hopes the event will showcase teh region's young skaters and riders.
