Police have charged a Long Gully man with more than 30 offences after a dangerous driving incident earlier this month.

Dean West is accused of failing to stop for police on the McIvor Highway between Bendigo and Axedale on the afternoon of Sunday, January 3.
It is alleged the 29-year-old was swerving between lanes, and increasing and decreasing speed erratically in a Nissan Tiida hatchback, before he was stopped in Junortoun about 3pm.

He has been charged with 33 offences, including exposing an emergency worker to risk by driving, drug driving, and dangerous driving while being pursued by police.
He was remanded in custody after appearing in Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Monday, and will appear in court again in March.
Police ask that anyone travelling on the McIvor Highway between 2.20pm and 2.40pm on January 3, who saw the incident or could provide dash cam footage, contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online.
