Thanks for medical support
I would like to thank the paramedics who attended to my husband after his fall Christmas morning. They were so understanding and patient.

Also thanks to the doctors and nurses at Bendigo Health for your treatment of him over the four days he was in your care.
I really appreciate it.

NSW attitude issues
There is very little doubt at all, that if the third test was to be held anywhere else than Sydney it would have been held with no crowd at all, if at all.
So what is it with NSW.
It is obvious that they have got to be going one better all of the time, criticising other states about border lockdowns, but they shut their border to Victoria in the blink of an eye, but now they are letting this virus run rampant, threatening all of us.
Victoria had no cases when it held the second test on Boxing Day.
At the moment Sydney has cases from one end of the joint to the other.
Gladys has gone on holidays, so she can freshen up and stay on top of her game. Excuse me.
If NSW had taken the continued advice from health officials and made masks mandatory we would not be suffering from their incompetence now.
Why is it that NSW thinks that they run Australia.
That is easily answered. If you have the Prime Minister of New South Wales, as well as the premier calling all of the shots, ignoring anyone else, it is no wonder we are in deep manure.
The one theme coming from the expert health officials is, and I quote, going ahead with this game, makes no sense at all.
The Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly said he would not be taking his family to the game as the risk was too great.
But, what would he know?

Business support goes both ways
Since businesses have re-opened locally we have been encouraged to support them but some certainly do not deserve this support.
On Wednesday, December 30 at 1.30pm, my wife and I decided to visit have a coffee and cake at a prominent establishment that advertised it was open until 2.30 pm while our grandchildren enjoyed a game of bowls.
We entered the premises only to be told it was closed as they had to prepare for for their new year's eve function.
My wife remarked to the staff member that it was two days away only to be told tersely that it was only tomorrow night and they had to prepare for it.
I realise we would only have spent a nominal sum, but I can assure you we will never go back to this property.
Businesses like this one do not deserve our local support.
