Police seized three firearms in raids on a houseboat and home after the incident, including a shotgun allegedly found under a lounge chair on the boat.
A 51-year-old was arrested at the scene of the raids. He has been charged with several firearm related offences and refused bail.

Police say they were called to reports someone had fired at least two shots in the direction of a 23-year-old man who was riding a jetski on the Murray River on Sunday afternoon.
The shots appeared to have come from a nearby houseboat.
After making inquiries, police raided a houseboat and home on Goldsborough Road in Moama.
Officers seized three firearms, including a shotgun allegedly found under a lounge chair on the houseboat, ammunition and cannabis.
They arrested a 51-year-old man at the scene, who holds a firearms licence in Victoria. He was taken to Deniliquin Police Station.
Police charged the man with offences including, firing a firearm in or near a public place, not keeping a firearm safely, and not having approved firearm storage.
The man was refused bail at the Wagga Wagga Local Court on Monday. He is set to re-appear at the same court on Saturday.
Police say their inquiries are continuing and will include a review of firearm licencing.
