Wind gusts of more than 60 kilometres per hour in central Victoria last Sunday afternoon and evening resulted in 67 requests for assistance from SES volunteers in the north west region.
The Bendigo SES unit was the region's busiest, with 11 callouts, while nearby units in Marong, Castlemaine and Maryborough attended multiple requests.
Of the 67 jobs, 64 were for fallen trees and three for building damage.
The Bureau of Meteorology's forecast for the final week of 2020 includes a possible shower on New Year's Eve, where a top temperature of 28 degrees is expected.
