The push at 646 Calder Highway follows development companies recent plans for 44 lots nearby at number 680 and a 61 lot project directly over the road from the suburb's business centre.
Traffic consultants hired by developers told city planners the latest subdivision would use two new streets onto Durstons Road, rather than the Highway.
More news:
"We are satisfied that these movements can be accommodated within the internal and surrounding road network, and that no additional works are required," they said.
A lot of the existing vegetation at the site would need to be removed but developers said they would not pull out that along a creek close to the highway.
Maiden Gully is one of Bendigo's biggest growth suburbs and the council expects more houses north of the proposed development in the decades to come.
