Thelma and Leonard 'Lenny' Shelton were married at St Paul's Cathedral Bendigo on December 22, 1950.
The pair are now 88 and 89 respectively, still living at home Kangaroo Flat. Mr Shelton even still owns a few cows.
Other news:
They have four children, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Granddaughter Terrie Andrews said it was lovely to celebrate the anniversary, because there was still so much love between the pair.
"It's just really sweet to see after 70 years that people can still be in love," Mrs Andrews said.
"They've got a very strong family around them. Three out of four of their children were there on Monday night, and most of their grandchildren."
Mr and Mrs Shelton celebrated their anniversary at the Kangaroo Flat Sports Club on Monday with family and friends.
