The man has landed at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in what appears to be a serious condition.
He will be treated for upper body injuries.

AN AIR ambulance is en route to a hospital carrying the man who fell down a rock face at Hanging Rock this morning.
It is understood he fell four metres from the Rock's summit.
A high angle rescue team winched the man to area that was more accessible for an air rescue, where the person was extracted by an air ambulance and taken to hospital.
The crews had considered a number of options to safely remove the man after he fell four metres, including moving him using a body board.
Ambulance Victoria is yet to confirm the patient's condition.

PARAMEDICS say the man who fell is aged in his 20s.
He is being assessed at the scene for suspected upper body injuries.
Ambulance Victoria workers are yet to report his condition back to base.
SES and fire crews are considering a high-angle rope rescue in an attempt to remove the patient.
It is understood specialist fire crews are en route and could team up with an SES team already on scene if that type of rescue is required.

RESCUE crews are preparing to move a patient who fell four metres down a Hanging Rock rock face this morning.
Paramedics were called to the incident near Woodend at 10.45 with the CFA and SES dispatched shortly afterwards.
An air ambulance has been dispatched.
The CFA had dispatched its high angle rope rescue team but it is unclear whether they will be needed.
