VICTORIA has gone another day without new cases of COVID-19, either in hotel quarantine or through community transmission.
It marks the 47th day in a row without any community transmission.
No deaths have been reported from the virus.
Victoria's first new COVID-19 cases in six weeks were recorded on the weekend, five on Saturday, one on Sunday.
A new case on Monday brought the state's total active cases to 7, all confined to hotel quarantine.
The state government received 9711 COVID-19 results to Wednesday.
Victoria's international arrivals are currently capped at an average of 160 passengers per day. In the previous hotel quarantine program about 1 per cent of returned travelers tested positive.
