Strathdale-Maristians needed a ninth-wicket partnership between Senna Marsili and Callum Thompson to get over the line against Huntly-North Epsom.
Chasing 92 runs for victory, the Suns slumped to 7-39 and then 8-68 before Marsili (33 not out) and Thompson (15 not out) added 25 to see their side home with an over to spare.
In under-14A action, Eaglehawk remains on top of the table after scoring a 43-run win over Strathdale-Maristians Blue.
Harvey White's unbeaten 25 set up the Borough's total of 8-114. The Hawks had bowled the Suns out for 71, with Jamarson Tewhata completing the fine figures of 3-8.
Ben Masters (25) was the best performer for Strathdale.
Huntly's Xavier Cain (40 not out) was the best with the bat in under-14A.
The talent level in under-12A cricket is very high and there were some impressive individual performances on Sunday.
