The teenager recorded his third win from eight drives aboard the three-year-old gelding at Kilmore on Tuesday night.
Shaq, who has now won seven of 47 career starts for Junortoun trainer Tormey, contributed to a tally of five Bendigo region winners on the nine-race program.
Shelbourne's Kate Hargreaves continued her brilliant breakout season with a training double in races two and four with the three-year-old trotter Oneoutofthsquare and four-year-old trotting mare Wisp Of Smoke.
Elmore's Keith Cotchin notched up a second win in five starts with recent Melton victor Gooddealehemily, while Marong trainer Trish McVeigh completed a standout night for the visitors when she broke a 12-month drought following a win late in the program with Clem Mcardle.
Shaq has quickly established himself as a favourite of Leedham's, accounting for three of his 16 wins to date.
He also has three wins with another of the Tormeys' - Ellen and John's - horses Hancocks Hero, as well as three with Jilliby Roy for his bosses Hargreaves and Alex Ashwood.
Leedham said there was no doubt Shaq was best suited to a front-running role.
"When he comes from behind he battles a bit. Out in front, he never lets them past him, so I got him up on the speed as quick I could," he said.
"I wasn't overly confident from that tricky three draw and there was one of the favourites (Writeaboutjess) who drew the pole. It helped when he got hammered early
"But I thought when I got to the front I thought he's just going to keep kicking to the line."
Meanwhile, a double for Hargreaves gave the Shelbourne stable seven winners for the month already and an incredible 104 for the season.
While Wisp Of Smoke made it back-to-back wins following her victory at Charlton last week.
Currently sixth on the state trainer's premiership table, Hargreaves only trails Jess Tubbs in fourth place by two wins and David Aiken in fifth spot by one.
