The shire's pool season kicks off on December 5 and continues until Labour Day in March.
Current COVID-19 requirements mean the maximum capacity at each pool is 300 people. Patrons must wear masks when indoors, including the pool's change rooms.
QR codes will be used to assist with contract tracing.

"Spending a day at the pool is a great way to get active, have some fun and cool off," Mount Alexander Shire parks, recreation and community facilities manager Cath Olive said.
"There will be COVIDSafe practices in place at each pool, along with our usual safety procedures."
pools will not open on declared Code Red days, Christmas Day and if the forecast temperature is below 23 degrees based on the temperature forecast for Castlemaine on the Bureau of Meteorology website at 6pm the previous day.
