City of Greater Bendigo visitor services manager Jemma Docherty said she hoped the night would encouraged people to support local businesses.
"We have really seen increase in people - both residents and visitors - coming and wanting to support locals," she said. "Visitors are coming with their pockets open and love to support locals.
"It's great to see them back and now we have got a new setup, we are finding a lot of people are enjoying the shopping experience."
The Uniqely Bendigo shopping night and Table Matters exhibition launch will run from 5pm to 7pm.
"Table Matters features a breath-taking floral installation which sets the scene to appreciate the ceramicists' skill in realising the texture, aesthetic and form of beautiful objects," Ms Docherty said
"We look forward to welcoming visitors to this new exhibition and checking out the Uniquely Bendigo store to purchase some fantastic locally made Christmas presents too."
The exhibition runs until January 31 at the Living Arts Space in the Bendigo Visitor Centre. Numbers will be monitored at the door to ensure compliance with COVID-19 restrictions. Bookings are not required.
