The Addy MVP rankings are based on a formula of 1 run = 1 point; 1 wicket = 20 points; 1 catch = 10 points; and a run out/stumping = 15 points.
In the BDCA, Golden Square's Trollope leads the way with 493 points.
Trollope has been a shining light in what has been a tough start to the season for Golden Square, which has just one win on the board from six games.
Trollope is the BDCA's leading wicket-taker with 17, which includes the season's best figures of 6-10 against Bendigo United in round three.
As well as his 17 scalps, Trollope has also made 123 runs and taken three catches.
Coming in at No.2 is Bendigo's Kyle Humphrys.
Humphrys - who previously finished as the top-ranked player in his debut season with the Goers in 2017-18 - has racked up 466 points.
Humphrys has been in fine touch with the bat, with his 121 against Golden Square at the QEO last Saturday taking his tally of runs to 326, while he has also snared four wickets with his off-spin and been involved in five fielding dismissals.
The top 10 is dominated by powerhouse side Strathdale-Maristians.
James Vlaeminck (No.3), Cameron Taylor (No.4), Grant Waldron (No.7) and Sam Johnston (No.8) are all Suns' players in the top 10, while the flag favourites also have Jack Neylon at No.14.
In the EVCA, Sedgwick's Thomas is 91 points clear of his nearest rival after having a big impact with both bat and ball through the first five rounds for the Rams.
The experienced Thomas has already racked up 467 points with his 267 runs, eight wickets and four catches.
Coming in second position is Spring Gully's Rhys Webb, who has 376 points from just three games.
Webb already has two tons from his three hits so far, making 140 n.o. against California Gully in round three and 114 n.o. against Emu Creek last Saturday.
Undefeated reigning premier United has the most players in the top 25 with six - Kane Goldsworthy (No.6); Alex Code (No.8); captain Harry Whittle (No.11); Broderick Williams (No.12); James Smith (No.16); and Joe Hartney (No.21).
