Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Wednesday morning announced the borders would reopen, after flagging the decision earlier this week.
Ms Palaszczuk said Victoria's 26 consecutive days of zero coronavirus cases influenced the government's decision.

Queensland closed its borders to parts of Victoria in mid-May, and all of the state from the start of July.
Wednesday's announcement came after NSW and the ACT reopened its borders to Victorians earlier this week.
Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein indicated his state's borders would be reopen to Victorians from November 27.
South Australia was also set to open its borders to Victorians from December 1.
The West Australian government was yet to set a reopening date.
