Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a grass fire near the Wycheproof golf club this morning.
The fire is believed to have burnt about 20 acres near the Calder Highway.
No property is believed to have been damaged.

The grass and stubble fire is under control, a CFA spokesperson has confirmed.

The Country Fire Authority has advised people near Wycheproof to stay informed and monitor conditions as firefighters battle a grass and stubble fire at the Calder Highway.
An advice message issued at 11.53am said the fire was travelling in a south-westerly direction from near the golf course.
"There is a lot of smoke in the area," the message said.
Firefighters are on scene and aircraft are responding.
"There is currently no threat to you, but you should stay informed and monitor conditions," the message said.
The CFA has asked that people keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
It has also asked that people decide what they will do if the situation changes.

FIREFIGHTERS are responding to a fire near the golf course at Wycheproof.
The fire is not yet under control.
Firefighters received reports of an out of control stubble fire about 11.20am.
A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said police had been notified.
About three hectares have been burnt.
