OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
SOCIAL TENNIS
Join in with one of the local tennis clubs in Bendigo and practice your skills this week.
Social evenings of tennis are for people of all ages who are wanting to get back into tennis, or just looking to have some fun.
Members, non-members, pros and novices are welcome to play.
Cost starts from $2 coin donation.
Both Eaglehawk Tennis Club and Strathdale Park Tennis Club will be hosting sessions.
Bookings must be made due to COVID-19 regulations.

WOOD SKILL SHED
Hosted by Bendigo Deaf Hub, the Wood Skill Shed workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to use tools or make things.
Building skills will also be shown.
All are welcome to join in, however this event is free for deaf or hard of hearing participants and an Auslan interpreter will be in attendance.

TEEN'S CYCLING PROGRAM
Are you wanting to brush up on your cycling skills?
Teens are invited to join in this cycling program to help prepare for independent bike riding.
This program will help with road rules and tips to keep you safe.
The program is held over two four-hour sessions, costs $10 and will be hosted by presenters, Nicola Dunnicliff-Wells and Penny Gilbert.

HERITAGE UNCORKED
Join in with Bendigo Heritage Uncorked for The Unseen Series.
Order wines, grab your friends and enjoy a Friday night wine chat.
Each Friday for six weeks, there will be a live-streamed chat with local winemakers, filmed in an unseen corner of a historic Bendigo building.
Jump online, buy your wine and receive your link to the events.

GOLDFIELDS LIBRARY EVENTS
Get online with your local library and attend one of their Zoom events this coming week.
There will be a chance to learn some online tools for the bushfire season; a talk with memoir writer, Sue Gunningham, who will speak about her experiences of Black Saturday with her books, All the Day After and Waldene; and another event with Sue Gunningham, where she will teach you skills of how to write a memoir.
Groups will be small and bookings are required.

PIINPI: CONTEMPORARY INDIGENOUS FASHION
Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion is an exhibition showcasing garments and textiles by First Nations artists from all across Australia.
This exhibition celebrates Indigenous art, history and culture through fashion.
This exhibition will feature art fashion by Grace Lillian-Lee, Babbarra Women's Centre, Marree Clarke, Hopevale Arts and Cultural centre and many more.

OPEN SCULPTURE EXHIBITION
Each weekend until November 22, Mica Grange opens its garden gates for a sculpture exhibition.
Located at the foothills of Mount Alexander, Mica Grange is renowned for its garden walks, afternoon teas and lunches.
Each opening features a wide range of sculptures from all over Australia, along with plants and preserves for sale.
Group bookings can be arranged for weekday visits. Entry $7 - children under 18 free.

CREATE SPACE
Create Space is a time for people to meet up, bring along a project to work on (sewing, drawing, sculpting, etc) and just be together in a safe, supportive environment.
This free program will be facilitated by qualified and experienced Art Therapist, Marcela Olea, to help assist the group in its formation.
There will be a large box of equipment and materials for people to use in their projects. Contributions to the box are welcome.
Places are limited to just eight people.
You will need to bring your own project.

SHARING PROCESS
The Greater Bendigo region has a community of First Nations artists whose cultural histories span all throughout Australia.
Sharing Process invites a selection of these artists to reflect upon cultural influences and celebrate with a variety of their works.

PLAN AHEAD
TABLEWARE DECORATING
Explore graphic design to create an individual motif for a painting on tableware.
This workshop will have you using stencils, sponges, brushes and more to decorable plates and bowls which will be glazed and fired.
