The Stanley Park North playground features an exhilarating ten-metre long slide from the tower, swings, a climbing wall and many diverse elements for play.
The Mount Alexander Shire's Cath Olive said it would likely become something of a local landmark because it is on Harmony way, the town's main street.

"There are some fabulous views from the lookout at the top of the tower, and I'm sure it won't just be children clambering and climbing to the top to take in the sights," she said.
A new path connects the playground with the La Larr Ba Gauwa Park car park, the Harcourt Pony Club, Dirt Park and the Harcourt Swimming Pool, and accessible public toilet amenities are located at the pool grounds.
Creative elements are scattered throughout the play space, including an oak leaf seat and apple star footstool crafted by Central Victorian artist Linton Torr. A meeting place to tell stories, listen and learn has also been created.
A drinking fountain provided by Coliban Water, and a BBQ bought utilising funds from the Harcourt Progress Association has also been installed
The Mount Alexander Shire funded the playspace in partnership with the Victorian Government, with donations from the Harcourt Progress Association made possible by a Maldon Community Bank grant.
