The day marking the moment guns fell silent at the end of World War One will this year be commemorated with small gatherings because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But members of the public can still pay their respect by laying wreaths at the Bendigo Soldiers Memorial Institute.

They can also keep purchasing poppies - including through "estores" like www.appeals.bendigorsl.com.au - Bendigo RSL president Peter Swandale said.
"The funds raised by the sale of a single $5 poppy may go towards the purchase of a special medical device for a Bendigo veteran, pay for a Central Victorian veteran's crisis accommodation, and support health and wellbeing programs like physical activities for veterans throughout the region," he said.
The Bendigo District RSL Sub-Branch will live stream a scaled down, invite-only Remembrance Day service on the group's Facebook page.
The event will begin at 10:45am.
