Dr David Frederick Miller, 77, entered his pleas in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Friday after a committal hearing that ran for multiple days, mostly in a closed court.
Dr Miller is charged with one count of rape, 19 counts of unlawful and indecent assault, and three counts of indecent assault.

The charges stem from alleged historical offences in Bendigo and Wangaratta between 1976 and 1983.
On Friday, magistrate Patrick Southey said he was satisfied there was sufficient evidence to send the matter to a higher court.
Dr Miller will appear at the County Court next month for a directions hearing.
He remains on bail, in NSW.
