Bendigo's participating real estate agencies have typically raised thousands of dollars for the RSL, Mr Maher said.
The RSL's annual poppy drive takes place in the lead-up to Remembrance Day, which commemorates the moment World War One's guns fell silent.
RSL clubs are hoping to raise much needed funds, with the coronavirus pandemic impacting their ability to fundraise this year.
